Lectionary Readings

Our our scripture for this week will cover Roman 8:26-39. Who is Paul writing to? Have you ever asked the Holy Spirit to help you pray for the right things? Do you always know what the right things are? Whose will do you ask God to fulfill? Have you ever felt abandoned by God? How did the situation turn out? How do you feel about it now? Who does God foreknow? How does verse 29 speak to you? Can you have free will and be predestined? Does verse 32 mean that God will give you whatever you want? If not, what does it mean? What does it mean to be justified? What can separate us from God's love? What can separate God from our love?
