This week in the life of FUMC Kemp

Greetings,
Church Council met on Sunday and one of the topics of discussion was reopening the in person classes for the children and youth. Council decided to reopen classes on February 7th for in person learning. If you are interested in participating or know someone that is, invite them to attend. Adult Bible study has been and will continue to meet in person on Sunday Mornings at 9:45.
 
Youth Bible study will be held on Zoom Mondays at 6 pm. Contact Jim Collinsworth if you would like to participate. You do not need to be a member of the church to participate.
 
Labor of Love Food Pantry will be open Tuesday, January 19th from 6:30 pm to 8 pm. Serving those in need living within the boundaries of the Kemp School District. If you need food before then, please leave a message on the church voicemail at 903-498-4791.
 
Wednesday Zoom Bible Study continues this week. If you are interested in attending, respond below and we will send you the link. You do not need to be a member of the church to participate. All are welcome. We will continue with our lectionary studies. This week we will cover Psalm 111.
 
Join us this Sunday January 24th at 9:45 in the Fellowship Hall as the Fellowship class delves into Mark 1:14-20.
 
Sunday, Jan. 24th, join us in the sanctuary or on Facebook Live for our Sunday Worship Service at 11 am. This week Pastor Beate will bring us a message from Mark 1:14-20. Come be Blessed by the Word.

A look ahead.......
Picnic!! join us on the church grounds following worship on January 31st for a gathering on the lawn. Please bring your own eats and treats. We will social distance and wear face covers when not eating. In case of bad weather, we gather in the Fellowship Hall. Hope to see you there.
