This week in the life of FUMC Kemp
Labor of Love Food Pantry will be held Tuesday, March 16th from 6:30 pm to 8 pm. Serving those in need living within the boundaries of the Kemp School District. If you need food before then, please call the church office (903) 498-4791.
Wednesday Zoom Bible Study will be a Lenten study using the book Savior: What The Bible Says About The Cross by: Magrey Devega. If you are interested in attending, respond below and we will send you the link. You do not need to be a member of the church to participate. All are welcome. You will be provided the Lenten guide. This week we will be covering chapter 4, Reconciliation: Jesus Restores Your Relationship.
Join us this Sunday March 21st at 9:45 in the Fellowship Hall as the Fellowship class delves into John 12:20-33.

A look ahead.......
Palm Sunday, March 28th, join us for a special Palm Sunday Service followed by hot dog & hamburger luncheon and an Easter Egg hunt. All are welcome. Bring your friends. Please turn your candy in by March 21st and please bring candies that are small enough to fit in the eggs. The church will provide hotdogs, hamburgers and buns. Please bring your own condiments.
Join us for Holy week services: Maundy Thursday Service will be held at 7 pm at Becker UMC on April 1st and a Good Friday Service will be held April 2nd at 6:30 pm at Kemp UMC.
LAMM (Living Adopted Men's Ministry) meets Saturday, April 3rd at 8 am. All interested men are encouraged to attend.
A community Easter Sonrise service will be held April 4th at 6:30 am at the bridge in the Kemp City Park. Immediately following, breakfast will be served at the First United Methodist Church of Kemp. All are welcome to attend.
Come let’s play on Saturday April 24th at the Cedar Creek Expo to be held at Cedar Creek Brewery in Seven Points from noon to 6 pm. Kemp UMC will have an activity booth where children can play games and enjoy arts & crafts. It will be a great day for sharing God’s love with the children.
